Stefanos Stefanidis, beginning as a technician of the old OLYMPIC on Vouliagmenis Street, has connected his name with the development of inflatable boats in Greece, while is considered to be the first who preserved the name but also the history of the company.

As a designer and technician of the old OLYMPIC HELLAS, which during the decade of 1980 was top in the construction of inflatable boats, Stefanos Stefanidis considered the need of higher autonomy in travelling. In 1988 he creates OLYMPIC 525, which was the first RIB with permanent stainless fuel tank of 120 litres.

The elongation of its hull to 20 cm and the placement of inboard-outboard engine, brought the OLYMPIC 525 in the limelight until nowadays.
